I'm trying to find out or work out what determines the logging level into the logging buffer, specifically I'd like to include IP SLA and Object Tracking Up and Down events. As far as I can determine Object Tracking events are classed as "notification" and I have confirmed in the lab that they appear on the console if I configure "logging console 5" or higher, but not 4 or lower. However I still haven't been able to find ..
(1) How to enable logging for IP SLA events
(2) What determines which level of events go into the buffer. It doesn't seem to be explicitly configured and may be version dependent, for example in the lab (9.3.3) Object Tracking events go into the buffer, but a customer on 9.2.2 does not.
