Hi,

I want to upgrade nxos.7.0.3.14  to nxos.9.3.7.

The  upgrade path nxos.7.0.3.14  ,7.0.3.I7.9 and finally nxos.9.3.7

So my question do I need to copy the os to both SUP before upgrading ?

Second question if i copy both  7.0.3.I7.9 and nxos.9.3.7 to sup  and run the below

install all nxos bootflash:nxos.9.3.7.bin
will it install  7.0.3.I7.9 and  9.3.7 also ?

Or do   I need to install one by one like below

install all nxos bootflash:nxos.7.0.3.I7.9.bin

install all nxos bootflash:nxos.9.3.7.bin

What are the commands to be run before and after upgrade

Please help

Thanks

The upgrade path is for ISSU and config compatibility.. If you don't care about config mismatches or doing ISSU, then you can technically upgrade to any version without doing in between steps.

You didn't say which nexus it is but since the code is 9.3.7 i'm assuming it's a 3k or 9k, so install all nxos is the only thing required (and non-distruptive if ISSU is needed)

There are no commands to be run before or after upgrade other than (optional):

show install all impact nxos bootflash:<filename>
