I have a scenario where I would like to verify if a design will work. I have DC1 where I have an Nexus 5K's for LAN and an ASR for WAN using MPLS. In DC2 I have 9K's in the LAN and an ASR for WAN using MPLS. In DC3 I have 9K's connected back using dark fiber to DC2 9K's. I have a need to have the same network in all three DC's for about 6 months. Can I do DC1 OTV to DC2 using the ASR's and then DC2 to DC3 using VXLAN? My concern is it is possible that same network in DC1 will need to talk to to the same in DC3 which means it will need to do OTV then into VXLAN. Is this possible? Below traffic path:
DC1 5K's trunked to ASR
DC1 ASR OTV to DC2 ASR OTV
DC2 ASR trunk to DC2 9K's
DC2 9K's VXLAN to DC3 9K's
All three networks would have the same DG and I would block HSRP across. I have done that with OTV but not VXLAN.
