Ping Response Time Issue

Hi,

In deploying N1KV version 5.2.1 and testing ping responses on the management network, we are seeing reply time=0 ms.  Previously, this metric was outputted in three significant figures representing microseconds.  In any event, it should at least be under 1ms and not equal to 0ms.  I presume the total round trip is less than 0.5ms and it is not rounding up...Is there something that I am missing here to get ping responses in microseconds?

Thank you,

Scott

Can you detail from where to where you're pinging, and paste the output of your results here.

Thanks,

Robert

Yes.  I'm pingin from the mgmt0 interface to the default gateway.  Here are the details and the ping output:

mgmt0 is up

Hardware: Ethernet, address: 001d.d8b7.1c04 (bia 001d.d8b7.1c04)

  Internet Address is 10.201.4.252/24

vrf context management

  ip route 0.0.0.0/0 10.201.4.1

milp-n1kv-1(config-if)# ping 10.201.4.1

64 bytes from 10.201.4.1: icmp_seq=3 ttl=63 time=0 ms

64 bytes from 10.201.4.1: icmp_seq=4 ttl=63 time=0 ms

Thanks,
