Let's say if we were to upgrade from 9148T Fabric Switch thru to Cisco MDS 9396T, what is best and simple method.
On a high level; In Brocade, we would clear configuration on the new switch first, assign an unique Domain ID, ISL it to the legacy switch, verify if the existing configuration reflect in the new switch, later move a Storage Port and a Host port, will the same strategy work on Cisco Switchs ?
