Folks,
I need some recommendations on using a port-channel vs a VPC configurations on a Cisco Nexus switch. I have attached a basic topology on how the network looks like.
Now, the switches where I am asking for this recommendation are also marked in the diagram. Till date we have been using VPC which I feel was really not needed. The first reason was that these switches would never have a downstream switch.
Also, I have read ages back on pros and cons of L3 links with a VPC setup but now have forgotten all about it. I am also not able to find any documents that mention about that design. Can anyone help me with the same?
