folks

i've been asked to look at the output of the command show interface status | in bma157 on a nexus switch

some interfaces show the type as SFP-H10GB-C or SFP-H10GB-A and i'm trying to find what the difference is

can anyone clarify for me please what the difference in either cables or gbics are on the ports

thanks to anyone taking the time to read or reply to this

much appreciated

Greetings.

the -A will indicate it is an 'active' type cable, vs the -C which is passive.
