SFP health check

Hi,

I want to test sfp which is connected to n5k switch. i want to confirm that sfp is working fine.

actually i am getting error on interface. please suggest.

If you are using an SFP (1Gb) and not an SFP+ (10Gb) then this is why you are getting an error. The interfaces need to be configured to 1Gb if they are using an SFP. The default config for interfaces is 10Gb so when you insert the 1Gb SFP it does not recognize it.
