Hi,
I have not find best practices about vCenter location.
It is better that the vCenter is on an ESX not manage by the Nexus 1000v ?
On cisco documentations, logical figures show the vCenter out of VEM but some cases studies migrate the vCenter on the Nexus 1000v.
can you help me to clarify this point.
Thanks

It is really personal preference but my general recommendation is to place the ESXi managment vmkernel and vCenter on a standard vSwitch so that if there is an issue with the N1kv you don't lose management access. I also try to put SQL on the vCenter host so that there isn't another VM that it is dependent on.
