HI

Inhave just rebooted a pair of 9300 switches and now its showing type 2 inconsistency check not performed. I have double checked the complete config and theres not inconsistency.

Any idea what might be causing this?

Hi Qasim,

Can you share the output of show module and show vpc brief from both Nexus 9300 switches encountering this issue?

Thank you!

-Christopher

Sure, I will share that first thing in the morning.

But just so you know I have double checked it's a 100% match.

Having said that, there are no SVI on the switch and  interface vlan feature disabled but so is in other similar switches and they have no such issues.

Ita running nxos version 7.0

3.I4.2

And everything else is showing success.

Thanks

Hi,

Hi Qasim,

This output is expected behavior when neither vPC peer is configured with any SVIs (which is something you eluded to in your original post).

However, you also mentioned that you do not see this same output on other vPC pairs of switches that also do not have any SVIs configured. Can you share the output of the below commands from both switches in one of these vPC pairs?

terminal width 511
show vpc brief
show ip interface brief vrf all
show running-config | include feature

Thank you!

-Christopher

Hi mate,

thanks for your swift response. Please find attached as requested.

switch 1 and 2 are one VPC pair with the issue and switch 3 belongs to a different VPC with no issues however, same OS version and model.
