VXLAN Fabric BGW on spines

Hi

We are building a VXLAN fabric using Nexus 9Ks and DCNM 11.1.

The release notes say that you can have the Border Gateway on the spines but this isn't one of the examples in the documentation so I am a little confused at what it will actually look like. The customer wants as much of this as possible built with DCNM to keep ongoing support simple. Currently this is a single POD.

So we would like to connect the two spines to the existing traditional LAN using eBGP is there a good doc for this anywhere ?

Can we use loopbacks on the spines to cut down teh number of EBGP peers or do we have to use the IP addresses of teh L3 sub-interfaces going to the traditional LAN (thats 4 peers per VRF which gets old really fast as you add VRFs).

Oh and can we run an IGP on the link sto teh traditional LAN as well to provide reachability information if the BGP peer on the traditional LAN is not the directly connected IP?

Any pointers greatly appreciated.

We got this working. If you define the spines a BGW Spines then the eBGP config is available when you click on the uplinks to the datacentre core.
