Why do we need docker inside nxos?

Hi. we have 2 nexus 9348-FXP. Recently I found the new feature in nxos 9

It is the docker containers that can run right on the switch. The document mentioned above says HOW to run it but does not tell about a CASE. WHY do we need docker  on the switch and which benefits can I get  by this new feature. Can you clarify it? ThanQ.

I am not an expert on the use case aspect of docker but I have found that ciscolive.com has a number of on demand sessions on this topic that may provide you the answer you are looking for.
