I am a student writing a thesis on fog architecture with a local IT firm, who are Cisco partners, and I have an experiment designed to work with a Cisco C819HW router and a raspberry pi.
I can't seem to download the latest DMo ova or find out where to obtain the licence.
what I am looking for
I would like to be able to tell the firm that bought the router for me, how to help me (they are longtime Cisco partners), so what do I need to know in order to tell them how to obtain the DMo licence and the latest ova for me?
what I have tried
The docs here say to call sales/support and sales flat out said I don't need a licence o.o, however its written in black & white on the DMO site and on the forums that I do need a licence(attached screenshots). So I have created a ticket and I am waiting for a call back but in the mean time I thought I would post here. The super super silly applet for downloading it on the DMo site fails everytime on every browser I have tried (it is a super silly applet some one should fix that!).
Would love to be developing sometime tonight if at all possible!
As a person working with Cisco's portfolio of IoT products you have probably realized that some new platforms are ditching away the old RJ45-based RS232 serial communication console in favour of the newer USB-based serial communication port....
