At the completion of a milestone of a transactional project, the Customer is asked to sign a Milestone Completion Certificate (MCC).
Only Milestone based transactional projects require such MCC signature. Other transactional project types (SME, ratable ...) exist where such MCC signature is not applicable.
A Milestone based transactional project will have at least 1 MCC to be signed at the end of the project but more MCC's are possible, depending on the size and nature of the project. The Milestones are contractually defined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
When a milestone is completed and a MCC signature is required, the Cisco Project Manager will submit an MCC and you, as a customer, will be required to sign this.
The way this is managed through DCP is exactly the same way as for any Document acceptance. You will receive an invitation email and links are provided within the email that will direct you to the proper MCC document to accept.
For a detailed explanation of how to do this, please refer to the previous chapter that explains in general how to accept a document.
