Hi Devs,
I've began monitoring CUCM hard drive space and I now get the correct folders. I'd like to know what these folders represent with regards to the Cisco Call Manager. ie. what files are stored in these folders and the like.
Index | Type | Description | Alloc | Size (MB) | Used | % Used |
1 | hrStorageRam | Physical RAM | 4096 | 3,922.37 | 2,969.79 | 75.71 % |
2 | hrStorageVirtualMemory | Virtual Memory | 4096 | 2,015.90 | 1.62 | 0.08 % |
3 | hrStorageFixedDisk | / | 4096 | 14,299.92 | 11,387.56 | 79.63 % |
4 | hrStorageOther | /proc | 4096 | 0.00 | 0.00 | 0 % |
5 | hrStorageOther | /sys | 4096 | 0.00 | 0.00 | 0 % |
6 | hrStorageOther | /dev/pts | 4096 | 0.00 | 0.00 | 0 % |

10 | hrStorageOther | /dev/shm | 4096 | 1,961.18 | 89.17 | 4.55 % |

12 | hrStorageOther | /var/log/ramfs/cm/trace/ccm/sdi | 4096 | 128.00 | 0.00 | 0 % |
13 | hrStorageOther | /var/log/ramfs/cm/trace/ccm/sdl | 4096 | 128.00 | 9.65 | 7.54 % |
14 | hrStorageOther | /var/log/ramfs/cm/trace/ccm/calllogs | 4096 | 128.00 | 1.13 | 0.88 % |
15 | hrStorageOther | /var/log/ramfs/cm/trace/ccm/dntrace | 4096 | 128.00 | 0.00 | 0 % |
16 | hrStorageOther | /var/log/ramfs/cm/trace/lbm/sdl | 4096 | 128.00 | 0.95 | 0.74 % |
17 | hrStorageOther | /var/log/ramfs/cm/trace/cti/sdi | 4096 | 128.00 | 0.00 | 0 % |
18 | hrStorageOther | /var/log/ramfs/cm/trace/cti/sdl | 4096 | 128.00 | 5.79 | 4.52 % |
I've noticed that some of the folders are almost full. How can I free up some space on these folders and what do those folders represent for Cisco?
Thanks

Hi Carlo,
The last 7 rows in the table are various call processing logs for CUCM and CTI. These logs are useful for troubleshooting API issues. You can safely delete these either via RTMT or CLI. I'm not sure what the remaining the rows relate to so I am hesitant to suggest deleting those files.
I found this thread that has CLI instructions on deleting these files:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/10352036/clear-all-logs-cucm-6x#1119096
On RTMT, you may go to Trace & Log Central > Remote Browse. Then delete files.
Thanks,
Adrienne
