I have attached the result of running "show spanning-tree vlan 200" command here from a screenshot I have. The question is based on Fa0/3 Altn port status then this switch must be running Rapid STP which means every switch including root bridge sends out BPDU hence in this case average Hello time is every 2 seconds, forward delay of 15 seconds and the time spent in learning mode is 15 seconds.
Is this true or root bridge trumped local configuration and BPDU is sent out every 10 sec while switch remaining in learning state for 30 sec?
