Access to Git and PIP install not working in IOS XE Programmability NETCONF-RESTCONF-YANG Sandbox

Internet access for the IOS XE Programmability NETCONF-RESTCONF-YANG Sandbox is not working.  You are not able to do the labs for guestshell on on-box python cuz you are not able to:

1) yum install nano or git

2) clone the GitHub repository 

3) pip install requests

and etc.

When will this be fixed?????

Cisco blocked Internet access from the sandboxes. 

I think they will reinforce some policies and allow access to Github / PIP ...

As workaround, you can clone the git repo to your local machine and upload it to devbox.

When will Cisco allow access to those locations again? I can do the Git repro workaround, but you need to do a pip install requests to do a lot of the guest shell labs?

No idea .. you are Cisco employee .. maybe you can find out quicker than us :)

How about setting a virtual environment on your local machine and copy that to devbox

I can reach internet from the box but i cannot reach internet from the shell. There is some issue with NAT and ACL when will Cisco fix this?

There is no current plans to allow this, it is blocked/denied as part of the sandbox security posture.
