Hi Concern, In our network QoS is configured at aggregation routers only whenever traffic is entering into the network packets are being marked, and are going to cell site router (CSR). Cisco router dropping marked packet at congested interface based on QoS marking but no QoS is configured at that router. Below is the topology and questions. Kindly help me.
Customer Aggregation --------[Service Provided (SP) Aggregation Router (ASR 9010) ---------- (Multiple mpls P/PE sites)-----------Cell Site Router (CSR)]--------Customer Router.
Here QoS is only applied at SP router and bandwidth policy (In policy/ Out policy) has been applied at SP CSR.
As per customer feedback there are getting packet drop as if QoS is applied at CSR. My questions are
1. What is the default packet dropping method in Cisco router?
2. During congestion time. will it drop packet based on QoS marking received from Aggregation router?
