Hello,
In our datacenters, we have three physical NDFC appliances. Two of them are connected via 10G to 4510R and are working perfectly without any issues.
However, due to hardware availability, the third node is connected to a 3750-X switch with a C3KX-SM-10G module.
The problem is that the port comes up and shows as connected, but the MAC address of the appliance never appears in the MAC address table. If I move this appliance to another datacenter and connect it to a 4510R, it works immediately.
There are no errors in the switch configuration, and the GBICs and fiber are fine since they work when connected to the 4510R chassis.
For your information, I also tried using a C3KX-NM-10G module, but the symptoms remain the same.
So my question is: do these 3750-X switches or modules have limitations or restrictions when connecting servers/appliances? I’m running out of ideas at this point.
Thank you for your help, and have a great day.
