telnet CISCO ISR 4321/K9 via cable console

Could anyone walk me step by step through telneting the router via console cable and pc.

I need to add this configuration on the below interface.

interface GigabitEthernet0/0/0

description WAN

ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x

access-list 30 remark ACCESS

access-list 30 permit x.x.x.x

access-list 30 permit x.x.x.x

access-list 30 permit x.x.x.x

access-list 30 permit x.x.x.x

access-list 30 permit x.x.x.x

line vty 0 4

access-class 30 in

transport input telnet ssh

transport output telnet ssh

Your config is OK, but using console cable I dont think this will work 
you need normal utp cable.

a serial/rj45 console cisco cable wont work ?

NO using console cable meaning using console port and meaning using 
line console 0 

using utp cable meaning using ethernet and meaning using 
line vty 
here you hav two option using telnet or ssh

once I connect my pc to the router I'll use putty but using what connection type? Thanks.

always remember your username/password for login 
always remember your enable password
