AsyncOS 8.5, Message Tracking Data Availability, Missing several weeks of data

Hey Guys,

 

We have 2x C 370 IronPort Devices in a cluster and M670 Security Management Appliance. one of our hosts (host1.domainname.com) is unable to replicate or send all of its message tracking data to the M670 Security appliance. The other host is working as expected and has not data issues.

This all seems to have started after the host (host1) was restarted on July 3rd. I recently rebooted both the host host1 and the security management appliance with no change.

 

Any ideas?

Hello Robert,

 

Your SMA connection to your host1.domainname.com device, can you try to re-establish the connection and test the services again.

 

After which ensure that it is all connected fine.

If any errors come up, please let me know what you see.

 

Next step I would recommend is checking the SMA's 'smad_logs' to see if you're seeing any errors or connections recorded.

 

If the issues still persist, we would require remote tunnel access to see if there is a greater issue at hand and have TAC engagement with you.
