I was reading about the newest email protection standard.  Can you say if this will be implemented on the IronPorts?

Thanks!

ARC support is planned to be included in upcoming releases in FY 24 (this is subject to change)

Still no news for ARC support ...

Starting Feb 2024, Google Includes ARC in Email Sender Guidelines: https://powerdmarc.com/google-arc-sender-guidelines/ and https://support.google.com/mail/answer/81126#zippy=%2Crequirements-for-all-senders

We now urgently need ARC support on ESA !!!

Are there any documented updates on CISCO supporting ARC? Google and Yahoo have already started implementing the restrictions mentioned in the above post and we are now bouncing email forwarded to these domains.

If Cisco can't do ARC implementation this is probably end of the line for us and the ESA. We have had them since they were Ironports.

I totally agree with you: Email authentication has evolved and the new requirements from Google and Yahoo must be available urgently on ESA. Regarding this I question myself : "is Cisco still a major actor in email security ?" and "is there still any one at Cisco that still understand how actual e-mail authentication works ?"

ARC Support planned on 15.8 or 16.x releases

Thanks saliyev,

We now just have to wait for 15.8 or 16.x ...

Do you have any ETA ???

Thanks

PL

15.5.x released recently. I guess 15.8 tentatively targeted for next quarter of 2024 (my expectation is September-October).

so almost 8 years later Cisco still has not fixed ARC support.
This really makes a case for other solutions like Microsoft Defender for Office 365.

Hi,

16.0.0 is out today but still no ARC support

@saliyev: do you have more news ???

Thanks PL

I just noticed the same thing, I immediately installed it in our test environment hoping that it was just missed in the release notes, but no... Still no ARC after all this time. We're getting a Fortimail demo here in a few weeks.... I never thought I say this, but I'm getting more and more open to leave Ironport after over 17 years.
