Hey there,
maybe just a simple question, but I looked around at Cisco's pages and here, and I can't really find an answer.
So what is the difference between C690/C690x and M690/M690x. What does the X at the end stands for?
Thanks a lot!!!

Ok, I think I found an answer. X-Models have more hard drive space.
Is this the only difference?

Hello Alexander,
• C690 - Has Ethernet data ports and four small form-factor (SFF) drives, with a 4-drive backplane. • C690X - Has Ethernet data ports and eight SFF drives, with 8-drive direct-connect backplane.
M690 - Has Ethernet data ports and ten small form-factor (SFF) drives, with a ten-drive backplane. • M690X - Has Ethernet data ports and sixteen SFF drives, with a sixteen-drive direct-connect backplane
Regards,
Matthew
