What is the model ESA you're using and what version of ASyncOS?

You can use some of these commands from the CLI to check on the current update status :

1) avstatus

2) asstatus

3) repengstatus

4) sbstatus

To force an update to all components, you can use the 'updatenow force' command and then run 'tail updater_logs' to look for any update successes/errors.
