Hi Paolo,

You do not need to break the cluster to configure the M170 to manage the ESAs.  First ensure the AsyncOS versions are compatible using the compatibility matrix:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/security_management/sma/sma_all/SMA-ESA-WSA_Compatibility.pdf

Then follow the directions in the SMA/ESA configuration guides to discover and connect the ESAs to the SMA:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/esa/esa7.6/ESA_7.6_Configuration_Guide.pdf

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/esa/esa7.6/ESA_7.6_AdvancedGuide.pdf

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/esa/esa7.6/ESA_7.6_Daily_Management_Guide.pdf

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/security_management/sma/sma7.9/SMA_7.9_User_Guide.pdf

Hope this helps!
