Does cisco SMA trigger end user quarantine notiifcation through Directly Exchage server or Cisco ESA? If Cisco SMA and Cisco ESA Private listener(internal IP) is different DMZ segment. should I allow port 25 on firewall to communication between CIsco SMA and Exchange or CIsco ESA?

You can point messages to be delivered back to the ESA(s) or directly to Exchange, your choice.

Its configured via the GUI under Centralized Services/Spam Quarantine.
