Encryption (CRES VS TLS VS S/MIME)

Please can someone tell me why using CRES in ESA is better than s/mime or TLS ?

CRES encrypts the entire email message, including attachments, ensuring comprehensive protection of the content. This differs from S/MIME, which encrypts individual message components, such as the body or attachments.

Also, CRES simplifies the process of encrypting and decrypting emails. With CRES, the encryption and decryption processes are handled automatically by the ESA, eliminating the need for end-users to manage their own encryption keys or certificates.

Finally, CRES provides secure email delivery even if the recipient's email server does not support encryption protocols like TLS. It ensures end-to-end encryption by encrypting the email message and delivering it through a secure web portal. The recipient can securely access the encrypted email through the web portal, ensuring confidentiality.
