Enterprise Security Appliance - Does HAT Whitelist support use of IP address with subnet mask?

Hi

We have an external mail provider using multiple servers to send mail on-behalf of our org. Instead of entering multiple entries into the whitelist, i would like to just add the domain part of the ip with /24 subnet mask.

is this supported??

Hello Fraser,

in the Email Security Appliance the entry of the Sender under Mail Policies -> HAT Overview ->  (select Sender Group entry) -> Add Sender can be done in the following formats:

• IPv6 addresses such as 2001:420:80:1::5
• IPv6 subnets such as 2001:db8::/32
• IPv4 addresses such as 10.1.1.0
• IPv4 subnets such as 10.1.1.0/24 or 10.2.3.1
• IPv4 and IPv6 address ranges such as 10.1.1.10-20, 10.1.1-5 or 2001::2-2001::10.
• Hostnames such as example.com.
• Partial hostnames such as .example.com.

 So the answer is yes, the entry can be done with subnet prefixes.
