Hi Guys,
Attached is a network design I have for a customer.
The scenario:
There are ESA C690 X 3 that will replace (C670)s..
The exact requirement is to
1. come up with the best design to setup the 3 ESA boxes in Cluster and migrate the config from Old to new boxes.
2. Setup another set of 2 SMAs in HA.
3. ensure there is no down time during the migration (I need to be sure this possible before responding to the customer)
I will appreciate to understand how the physical boxes will connect as I have tried looking documentations with limited success.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Justice
What is the firmware version for your C670 devices?
Perhaps you should consider:
a) Get ESAv for the same version of C670;
b) Load configuration from C670 in the C600V;
c) Upgrade C600V to the version on C690
d) Load the Configuration from C600V on C690
It is not easy but it can be achieved.
There is a configuration migration tool from hardware to virtual devices. The tool works for older versions of the AsyncOS through.
Hope that helps.
