ESA : License oversubscription

What happen when the smtp traffic oversubscribe the number of licensed mailboxes?
Does CISCO ESA let SMTP passthrough without any treatment or will reject the excedent?

Nothing happens, the ESA keeps filtering mail and delivering mail if you end up with 550 mailboxes and only have a 500 seat license.

Do make sure to keep your account team aware of your growth so they can adjust your license so it doesn't become an issue later...
