ESA logs notified that the mail was queued for delivery when tracing the email in the MS exchange no trace appears and somehow it seems that the email went lost between the ESA and the Exchange.

i can see the FW logs that a packet was accepted from the ESA to the Exchange

is this new setup ? or working one failed -

queued for delivery - means in the Queue only - it will not reach EXchange server yet.

is this ESA and Exchange directly in same network, or do you have any Firewall between ?

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Yes, this is a new setup, and I'm new to the cisco solution.

The ESA is a SAAS the Exchange is on-prem

we work hybrid if the mail-box isn't in the Exchange, it redirects the mail to our 365 tenant
