Hello.

I have one question.

If use VMs that same vCPU and vRAM for C100V and C300V and C600V.

These makes different performance ? (exclude disk size)

Best Regards.

No.

What it sounds like you're really asking is : Can I deploy a C100V and later add ram and cpu?

No. There are configurations of components that are tuned to the deployed CPU and RAM. They are not part of the user accessible config.

The C100V that you add ram and cpu to won't use it .

Hi,

Your question is not clear. Still, if your question is what's different between those VM 'models', please have a look here:

https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/security/content_security/virtual_appliances/Cisco_Content_Security_Virtual_Appliance_Install_Guide.pdf

You'll find there all specs in terms of vCPU/RAM/HDD per model per hypervisor.

Sorry.

My question is ...
if setting same use VM specs, then performance is same or not or (It's outside support. can't answer)?

  • C100V (8 vCPU 16GB vRAM)
  • C300V (8 vCPU 16GB vRAM)
  • C600V (8 vCPU 16GB vRAM)

Best regards.

Hi,

I still don't understand the question. This is the difference between models. RAM/CPU and HDD per VM installation notes.

Of course the performance is not the same. For ESXi you have separate OVAs so that each OVA can provision its required specs.
