How to recover a virtual ESA's admin account

Hello,

I accidentally enforced  2FA on the administrator account. I also enabled external authentication. After using password to login to my admin account. I got another passcode screen to ask me to key in the passcode which I do not have.

Please advise how to get the passcode

The administrator account is only available locally.

Hi,

You may want to try using the console access to the VM to see if you can login that way and disable MFA for the administrator account.

You could also try the enablediag username with the same password as admin through console.
