IronPort C195 Upgrade to 14.2.1-015

Hello everybody,

we bought new c195 and want to migrate from our c190 cluster. First of all the firmware version has to match. And this is the issue.

Existing C190 Cluster has AnsyncOS 14.2.1-015. New C195 factory delivered was AsyncOS 12.5.3-035 and there was only Upgrade to 13.0.5-007. After Upgrade to 13.0.5 there are no available upgrades. In Release Notes to 14.2.1 Upgrade can be performed from AnsyncOS 13.5.4-020. But there is no upgrade from 13.0.5-020 to 13.5.4-020 in WebInterface . Is there any possibility to download and perform this update offline? FIPS ist not enabled. Configs are not mirgated because of version difference. Thanks in advance and greetings.

yes, you need to the same version to restore the configuration.

yes, you need to stepwise upgrade, only you upgrade to a certain version then only you see the option for 14.X 

I am sure you set up this offline, upgrade whatever version is available and see if you are able to see the 14.X to upgrade.

if not what options you see so we can check what is wrong?
