Greetings,

We are currently tracking an issue related to the static update servers, downloads-static.ironport.com. We are seeing some updates fail when attempting to access these servers. If possible we recommend changing to the defaults in updateconfig , which will point to they dynamic servers at downloads.ironport.com. The updates involved relate to both Ironport Anti-Spam (IPAS) and Sophos Anti_Virus. These components will still function however they may not be able to maintain the latest definitions.

You can do this from the CLI using the command updateconfig, or from the GUI by going to the "Security Services" tab then select service updates.

I have tried updating from the GUI using the securities services.

But the CASE core files and CASE utilities are still dated 4 July version 3.0.0-031.

The CASE core files and the CASE utilities are not updated as frequently as the other components.  These can be compared to the scanning engine for anti-virus. The Rules, would be updated about every 5 to 15 min where the core files and utilities would generally only get updated when an AsyncOS upgrade is performed or if we push out and update.
