Ironport Mailsecurity on VMware

Hi,

is there any information when IronPort will switch the C series respectively AsyncOS  to a VMware platform? It's very important for us to get a higher SLA and less hardware plattforms to manage.

This too would be helpful for us if we want to host a backup MTA at a colocation service, such as Rackspace.

I agree. A VMWare image for IronPort would be helpful for our DR options.

Currently we do not offer a Virtual image of AsyncOS however there is talk of possibly providing this in the future. We do however offer a hosted solution which does not require that you have hardware on site. If you are interested in this you can contact your sales team for further information.

Indeed, +1 on this one. What is in the box that VM can't do? Except selling hardware at high margins (then again, nothing that VM can't do ) ..
