Multiple Inbound Servers

For redundancy, we have two mail servers on different internet connections.  Is there a way to make the appliance do the following:

  1. deliver to primary server if available
  2. if primary server not available, deliver to secondary server
  3. if primary and secondary not available, hold the mail in a queue until one of them comes available.

Note: I am new to the platform - we had not actually deployed it yet.  We are moving from another platform in the next few weeks.

Thanks.

i assume you are using CES and your email servers are on the inside of your network and they are mapped to two internet circuits... ???

anyway for inbound - you can set priority and have multiple routes

yes it will stay queued generally for 72 hours...

Thanks, this is indeed useful.  It looks like it will do what we need.

Out config is a bit more complicated.  We have a primary mail server, and a secondary mail server at a different location that only holds mail when the primary is not available.  That lets us have inbound and outbound email if the primary mail server is not available.
