Rename ATT00001.txt attachment or prepend wording in message body

We have a content filter that strips certain attachment file types from messages (strip file attachment by file info) and adds a replacement message with some wording to our users as to why it was removed. When the users receives the message everything works as desired, but the replacement message wording gets attached to the message with the name ATT00001.txt.

1. Is there any way to rename that attachment name (ATT00001.txt) to something more identifying for our users?

2. OR is there a way to prepend our wording about the attachment removal within the body of the message instead?

Thanks in advance!

Hi ,

This is a known issue caused by the Exchange Server in which the Microsoft Exchange Server is reformatting messages sent through it.

Here's external documentation -as this issue not caused by the ESA - that explains why this happens and how it can be resolved:

I hope the above information helps.
