SBRS Score "not enabled"

Hi Folks,

i just set up a new ESA C380 configuration cluster.
At first glance, all is working fine.

After a while i saw in the message tracker a large volume of incoming mail
who has an sbrs score of "not enabled".

I checked the senderbase.org and noticed that some of the senders
had a good reputation and some not.

I have read that the DNS response times can be a problem.
So i have changed the configuration from using our own dns servers to
public ones and after the problem still exist i changed the config to using the
root dns servers.

But the problem is still the same.

Any Idea?

Chris,

Have you validated your keys are active? Did you install the unit using the install wizard? I would recommend you contact TAC if the problem persists.

Hello Chris,

Please ensure that you have active feature keys enabled on your device for anti-spam as well.

If you do, please go to your system CLI and attempt to use the following:

CLI > repengstatus

If no results come up, please contact Cisco TAC so we can review the device if we need to manually bring the reputation engine up if all keys are active.

Thank you,

Matthew
