Sharing Cisco ESA with a new Hardware

Hello,

I would like to share the License of an ESA I need to replace.

Can I share the license in advance with the new Hardware?

Can I do this before I replace the older license ( to prepare the new appliance / upgrade it etc...) or will this "break" (remove the license) the active hardware?

Thanks for the link.

Actually the question was more if we can have both hardwares sharing the same license at the same time.

The older appliance would be up while staging the new one (upgrading, configure cloud services...)
