Can I make a Cisco Standalone FTD 4110 HA?

I have what may seem a like a simple question. I have a Standalone FTD 4110 appliance that is a managed by FMC. I have added a second identical  standalone 4110 to FMC(same software version etc.) . The First FTD is completely configured. If I create a High availability pair where by I make the Primary the existing FTD and secondary the new FTD will it simply sync all the config from the original to the new FTD.. Basically I want to make sure I do not lose configuration on the original FTD when I make the pair.   Thanks so much!

If you follow the right steps, i do not see any config loss :

My suggestion when we are concerned, not sure .

1. always take the backup of config out of the box.

2. Do thie task in Maintenance window.

3. Prepare of backout plan, in case anything go wrong.
