I have been handed over an FMC managing an HA of two logical FTD Devices. However, there is no Platform Setting Policy defined in FMC for these FTD Devices. If i add a Plaftform Setting Policy now ..can it cause any error or downtime ?

Thanks

Deploying Platform settings by themselves won't cause any error or downtime.

If there are other policy elements (Access Control Policy, Snort Rule Updates etc.) pending deployment they may result in traffic interruption. When we do a deployment we must deploy all pending elements - we cannot choose only one of several if there are multiple changes pending.

Thanks... created Platform Policy without any issues in the running environment
