Solved: FMC Upgrade

Hi friends.

I have a FMC 2500 and I want to upgrade it to FMC 4500. I get some licenses according to the "License Key" in FMC 2500.

now that I want to ugrade the FMC what should I do for licenses?

For traditional licenses, rehost them via the Traditional Licenses section of software.cisco.com. Those are tied to the ID of the FMC.

For Smart licenses, first deregister the old FMC and then register the new one and, once you have the sensors registered to it, apply licenses onto the sensors. The FMC will allocate the licenses from the pool in your organization's Smart account.
