FTD showing time synchronisation error

Hi everyone,

I have Virtual FTD managed by FMC. FTD appliance is in HA but it is showing time synchronisation error on health monitors in FMC. ERROR is as below

"FTD-1

          Time synchronisation status "FTD-2 is out of sync" "

Note- I believe on FMC and FTD: NTP servers are set to different ones.

Q1. I need help in troubleshooting this error!

Q2. If I change NTP server on FTD, will it create impact on communication between FTD and FMC?

Q3. What are other impacts if any?

Hi,

Cisco recommends that you synchronize your virtual appliances to a physical NTP server. Do not synchronize your managed devices (virtual or physical) to a Virtual Defense Center.

2. Yes, FMC & FTD will not get synced.

3. Out of Sync, Logging Issue etc.
