How to add more NGFW to a FS-VMW-2-SW-K9 license?

Hello

We have 1 FPR2110-NGFW-K9 running, which is licensed as FS-VMW-2-SW-K9.

We plan to expand our environment up to 4 ASAs 5506-X with FirepowerServices for the branchs and we want a centralize management.

can we add an  FS-VMW license?

Whats option do we have?

The old PAK-enabled FMCv licenses such as you have are not additive. So you cannot just add a second or third 2-device license to manage 4 or 6 sensors total.

You need to buy the new Smart license-enabled licenses and convert over to using them.

SF-FMC-VMW-10-K9 would be the part number for managing up to 10 sensors.

No. Licenses are not additive.

If you have a 2-device license and need to manage even one more sensor, you need to step up to a higher tier license (10 or 25 devices).
