Migrating ASA HA pair to FTD

Good night all,

Been checking up the FTD migration tool as soon we will be migrating cisco ASA active/standby pair to FTD appliances.

Based on the Read ME of the Migration Tool (See Link below), it says the following: "The Migration Tool supports migration of standalone ASA devices to standalone Firepower Threat Defense devices only".

Based on this, how does one go about migrating the HA pair?

Will the migration tool simply ignore the HA configurations or the migration of all the configurations will have to be done manually?

It will ignore the ASA HA configuration section. Once you have migrated to a standalone FTD device, it is very simple to add a secondary unit and create an HA pair.
