I can connect to a new 2140 NGFW via the second copper 1 Gbit port per the quick start guide to access the web interface via the default https://192.168.1.1 address. However, I would like to access the web interface from my inside core network connected to one of the 10 Gbit ports. I have configured routing and changed the inside network from the 1 Gbit to 10 Gbit port. Although I can ping the IP address I assigned to the 10 Gbit port I can't access the https:// management page via that interface.
Is there a way to configure this or do I need to use a dedicated management interface?

I hope your using FDM to manage FP2140, you can use any interface, provided you need to enable management access (HTTPS) of the 10G interface, which is available under Devise setting.

Hi,
As i aware you can only use the dedicated interface for managing FTD 2100 and you cannot use 10G interfaces for management.

Hi Nanda,
Thanks for the info if FTD is managed with local device manager. What about if the FTD is managed with FMC, can we use 10G interface of FTD2100 for management.
