upgrade readiness check fails when management is NATed from FMC to FTD

Have private IP address on FTD Management.. NAT is though a Cisco 5510.  The FTD is managed fine, but when trying to upgrade, the readiness check fails with

Status Log:Readiness Check To 192.168.77.112 Failure, Got Exception

TCPdump and 5510 log shows resets from the FMC.  There is no /var/log/sf on the FTD..Should it exist?  If not, is there a log file to consult?  If we bypass the 5510 (there for another layer of security, as well as the inside interface is on the same network as the FMC) so they can directly talk, the upgrades work fine.

Dear,

could you please share with us from which version are you running on FMC and FTD?

Many Thanks

Maybe not the same issue, pair of 2110 running 6.5.0.4, trying to upgrade to 6.7.0, readiness check - primary fails with Got Exception and secondary passes?

Any ideas?
