Hello Sam,

when you log into your Cisco FMC you can find the version when clicking on "Help > About" at the top right corner.

See the Screenshots:

What @rschlayer said. Plus - no worries - all of the FMC hardware models use the same software image.

hi,

is this for a dedicated appliance or virtual FMC?

just click on any platform (say, FMC 1500) > select Firepower Management Center Software > look for the TAC recommended image (with a gold star).

My model is showing the following

"Cisco Firepower Management Center for VMWare"

This means I am looking in the wrong place, correct?

Look at the middle column in your original posting.

Just go down one item to "Firepower Management Center Virtual Appliance".

Ahhh there we go! Thanks @marvin!
