Has anyone mounted a 5580 in a telecom rack (you know, where all your other networking/security appliances go)? How'd you do it? pics?
The rails that came with it seem pretty committed to going in a server rack and the weight, cost, and criticality of this box makes me not want to have to mickey-mouse a way to get it to "sorta-fit" into a telecom rack.
Take a look at this link to the rack mounting guide and see if it has the answers you're looking for. There are some illustrations that show the chassis in relation to the rack, mounting brackets, etc.
